Kforce Inc. is a professional staffing firm headquartered in Tampa, Florida. It was incorporated in May 1962 and has been listed on NASDAQ since 1995. Kforce employs more than 2,000 people at 62 offices in the United States and the Philippines.[1] Kforce provides staffing for the technology, finance, clinical research, healthcare, and government sectors.[2][3][4][5][6]


Founded as Romac & Associates, Kforce merged with Source Services Corporation. The name "Kforce" originated in 1999 as an abbreviation of The KnowledgeForce.[7]

Kforce Technology provides temporary and permanent placement in the areas of programmers and developers, systems analysts, enterprise data managers, and networking technicians.[9]

Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) provides solutions to the Federal Government of the United States in the areas of finance and accounting and technology. KGS has corporate offices in the Washington, DC, San Antonio, TX, and Tampa, FL areas.[13]
