Khajipet is a village and a mandal in Kadapa district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]

Khajipet is located at 14°38′00″N 78°46′00″E / 14.6333°N 78.7667°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 123 meters (404 feet). The population community wise spread includes Vysya, Reddies, Mudiraj palegars referred to in www.mudiraja.com, Yadava, Patra, Togata, Muslims Scheduled caste Mala, Madiga Rajaka, Naibramhin, Dudekula and Bramhins and Viswabramhins etc.

One in three households produces a college graduate, most of whom are engineers, postgraduates, etc. Bosireddy palli is a village located in the southeast of Khajipet; it is named after Sri Thripuravaram Bosireddy, the founder of the village. It is one of the very few villages in the Kadapa district growing paddy, turmeric, mangoes, and betel nuts. Though the village is small, the literacy rate is much higher than the district's average.
Thavvari palli is the panchayats. This village is famous for education and cultivation(cotton, Groundnuts and paddy etc.). Many people gruadted from this village.
Ravulapalli is the another of the panchayats. This village is developed by Sri Gangavaram Rami Reddy later he is popularised with the name Ravulapalli Ramireddy. He is the person who played crucial role in that constitution politics. After he defeated in MLA elections, he bring up his son in law (DL Ravindra Reddy) into the politics, who is the present Health minister in congress Govt (2011). This village is famous for education, Politics and cultivation.
PULLUR(Anjaneya Kottal) is the another panchayat. Anjaneya Swamy (Hanuman) Temple is very famous. So this village is called Anjaneya kottal. This village also contains Rama temple, Chowdeswary temple and SaiBaba temple. This village is also famous for education and cultivation ( paddy, Sunflower, Ground nuts etc.). Many people are graduated from this village and working in various jobs (State Govt jobs, Engineers, Army etc.,).
sannapalli is a great village in this mandal..the first president of village is T.Pedda VeeraReddy and present president is T.Venugopal Reddy& brothers......It is one of the very few villages in the YSR district growing [turmaric].the literacy rate is much higher than the district's average.

Nageshwara Kona, which is located on a hill 3 km from Khajipet, was the residence of Lord Siva. Every year all Mondays in Karthika Masam (generally in the months of October and November), celebrate the Vanabhojana utsavs and annadana ceremony.The big festive celebrated is the Mahasivaratri during Febravary/March of every year and APSRTC will fly buses from Mydukur and Kadapa Via Khajipet to fecilitate thousands of pilgrims. Khajipet is supported by the APSRTC, a bus transport company.[citation needed]
National Highway passes through this mandal, but no railway.
