Khaniyadhana is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Shivpuri district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Before Indian independence in 1947, Khaniadhana was the capital of a princely state of British India of the same name.the last ruler raja bhanu pratab singh of bundela rajput desent

As of 2001[update] India census[1], Khaniyadhana had a population of 12,595. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Khaniyadhana has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 47%. In Khaniyadhana, 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
