Kharkov Governorate (Ха́рьковская губе́рния) was a governorate of the Russian Empire originally founded in 1835. In 1780-1796 there existed the Kharkov Vice-royalty.

From 1796 to 1835 the governorate was called the Sloboda Ukraine Governorate.
