Kherlen, Khentii

Kherlen (Mongolian: Хэрлэн) is a sum (district) of Khentii Province in eastern Mongolia.This sum includes the city Öndörkhaan, which serves both as the Khentii aimag capital and the Kherlen sum center. Large portions of mountainous and plane pasture lands and forests also are included in Kherlen sum. Ölziit (Mongolian: Өлзийт) former sum creates eastern part of the Kherlen sum.
