Sai Mai (Thai: สายไหม; IPA: [sǎːj mǎj]) is one of the 50 districts (Khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. It is bounded by (from north clockwise): Amphoe Lam Luk Ka of Pathum Thani Province; Khlong Sam Wa, Bang Khen, Lak Si and Don Mueang of Bangkok.

Sai Mai was the name of a muban in tambon Khu Khot, Amphoe Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani Province. It was transferred to Amphoe Bang Khen and promoted to a subdistrict (tambon) in 1940. Due to the growth of population in the area, Sai Mai was elevated to a district effective 21 November 1997 to improve the service and administration.[1]

The District Council for Sai Mai has eight members, who each serve four-year terms. Elections were last held on April 30, 2006. The results are as follows:
