Khloe Alexandra Kardashian (born June 27, 1984) is an American television personality, celebutante, socialite, model, and businesswoman. She is best known for her appearances on the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Kardashian is of Armenian (father) and Scottish-Dutch (mother) descent.[1] Kardashian was born in Los Angeles, California[2] to attorney Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner (née Houghton). Robert Kardashian died on September 30, 2003.[3] Her mother, Kris, divorced Robert in 1989 and married Olympian Bruce Jenner in 1991.[4] Kardashian has four sisters, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and a younger brother, Rob Kardashian. Kardashian also has three stepbrothers, Burt, Brandon, and Brody Jenner, and one stepsister, Casey Jenner.[5]
As seen on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she co-owns and operates DASH, a clothing boutique in Calabasas, CA, with her sisters, Kourtney and Kim.
She was dating Sacramento Kings guard Rashad McCants[6][7] however, broke up with him after discovering he had been cheating on her with various different women. She is now dating Derrick Ward of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

[edit] DUI Incident
As documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians on the November 12, 2007 episode entitled "Remembering Dad,"[8] Kardashian was arrested for driving under the influence.[5] The show did not capture the actual incident, but was a reenactment.[9] The show suggested that Kardashian's actions were the result of her difficulties coping with the anniversary of her father's death.[10]
On July 18, 2008, Kardashian reported to jail to serve time for violation of probation for her DUI incident. She faced a sentence of up to 30 days and enrollment in an alcohol treatment program within three weeks of her release from jail. She was released from jail less than three hours later due to overcrowding.[11] In an interview with PR.com after her DUI arrest, Kardashian stated, "I’m still grateful that this happened to me, because I’m the one that gets to now really teach my family. I’ve learned a lot and now I’m always the advocate to my friends."[12]
[edit] Media career
In 2007, Kardashian was invited to co-star in E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, a reality show centering on the lives of her and her sisters Kim, and Kourtney. Since the beginning of the series, she has become a significant character on the show and has developed her own fan base.[2] She is known as "the voice of reason" and for her sarcastic remarks. [13]
Kardashian was one of the celebrities competing in the second series of Donald Trump's The Celebrity Apprentice. The season began airing in early 2009.[14] Each celebrity will compete to raise money for their favorite charity; Kardashian's is the Brent Shapiro Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Awareness.[15] Khloe was Project Manager for the 2nd task of the season, and she led her team to victory earning $20,000 for her charity. Kardashian was fired in the 6th episode for earning a DUI which Donald Trump was unaware of until a recent project.
In April 2009, both Kourtney and Khloe announced that they get their own reality TV spin-off, which will follow their move to launch a Dash store in Miami, Florida. The series, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, will debut on E! in August 2009[16]. In between the taping, Khloe will also add radio personality to her resume starting May 29, 2009, when she joins Miami Top 40 Mainstream outlet WHYI for a weekly four-hour talk/entertainment program.[17]
[edit] Business Endeavors
Khloe is part owner, along with her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, of both the Calabasas DASH store, as well as the Miami location.
In June 2009, Khloe and her sisters teamed up with the Natural Products Association to create a unique teeth whitening pen called Idol White.
Kardashian also starred in one of PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaigns.
