Khour or Khaur is a town and a notified area committee in Jammu district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Khour is located at 32°36′N 74°48′E / 32.60°N 74.80°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 279 metres (915 feet).

As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Khour had a population of 6142. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Khour has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 62%. In Khour, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
