Kia'i, Amīr Kīāʾī or Kar Kia dynasty was a Zaidi Shia dynasty which ruled over Bia pish (eastern Gilan) from 1389 to 1592. They claimed Sasanian ancestry as well.

Kia'i helped shah Ismail I establish the Safavid Empire and Kia'is later became a vassal state of the Safavid Empire.[1] The Safavid king, Abbas I put an end to the Kia'i dynasty by dispatching its Army to Gilan in 1592.
