Kialla is a bounded rural locality of the City of Greater Shepparton Local Government Area in the Goulburn Valley, Victoria, Australia. At the 2006 census, Kialla and surrounding area had a population of 4,511.[1]

Kialla includes the areas known as Kialla Central, Kialla West and Kialla Lakes.

Kialla Post Office opened on 2 January 1874 and closed in 1918. [2]

A major housing estate known as Kialla Lakes has been established in northern Kialla. Three man-made lakes provide scenery. Houses with lake frontage sell for a premium price. Kialla is now considered as a suburb of Shepparton.

Shepparton Harness Racing Club conducts regular meetings at its racetrack in Kialla. [3]

The Shepparton Greyhound Racing Club holds regular meetings at its track on the Goulburn Valley Highway in Kialla.[4]


Golfers play at the course of the Kialla Country Club on Kialla Central Road. [5]
