Kier Byrnes

Kier Byrnes is the founding member, and frontman for, the punk/country band Three Day Threshold.

He has been recognized several times in The Noise. He is a Five-Time Winner of “Best “Other” Instrument” for banjo 2000, 2002, 2003, 2005; In 2004, he also was Co-Winner of "Best Stage Presence" from The Noise with Amanda Palmer of The Dresden Dolls.

Byrnes plays hockey with The Boston Rockers, and is also founder and head chairman of the Rodfest Committee, a non-profit group that since 2005 has raised over $45,000 through a series of benefit events for charitable groups such as the Gregory "Rodney" Moynahan Memorial Scholarship at Stonehill College.

In 1988, Kier finished runner-up in Class Clown voting at the Pike School.
