Kim Jaewon[1] (born February 18, 1981) is a South Korean actor and model. He debuted in 2001 with the TV drama Honey Honey.

Kim enlisted in the military on March 23, 2009 to fulfill his mandatory military draft.[2] He finished his service on January 24, 2011. Upon release from the military, Kim joined the cast of Can You Hear My Heart as the first male lead.[3] Kim received praise from the deaf community for his portrayal of Cha Dong Joo, a deaf man, in the drama.[4] Kim signed on to star in I’m a Flower Too in the fall 2011, but after being injured early in the filming of the show, he was replaced by Yoon Shi-yoon who rose to fame for his title role in King of Baking, Kim Takgu.
