Klarenbeek is a village east of Apeldoorn, in the province of Gelderland in The Netherlands, with approximately 3500 inhabitants. The village belongs to two municipalities, Apeldoorn and Voorst, the municipality border is situated in the middle of the village.
Klarenbeek has its own railway station, Klarenbeek railway station, which lies 2 km northeast of the village on the railway line between Apeldoorn and Zutphen. To reach the station, it is best to use the Buurtbus service into the village. This service connects with the train every hour from 7am to 6pm.
The village is located along the European hiking route E11, locally known as the Marskramerpad or Handelsweg. The E11 runs all the way from Den Haag to the east, at the present time all the way to the border between Poland and Lithuania.
