KlickStarter was a computer Application in the Apple Mac OS before Mac OS X came out. It was an application launcher, that was a Window at the bottom of the screen displaying multiple pages with coloured background and buttons for each application.
KlickStarter was used mainly in boot CDs to display the relevant applications that were available from the boot media. It never was used much by end users because the Finders "window tabs" (that were created when an open window was dragged to the bottom of the screen) had all the relevant functionality and offered more comfort without having to use a special application.
Today that functionality is offered by the OS X Dock.
