KnownSafe, Inc. was a cryptographic services company founded in April 2000 by Bruce Perens, Len Sassaman, and Rodney Thayer. The company aimed to provide novel cryptographic assurance capabilities to consumers based on privacy-preserving PKI techniques, but failed to secure necessary funding following the collapse of the Dot-com bubble.
