Kopachuck Middle School is a middle school found in the Peninsula School District founded in 1981, is a middle school that leads into Gig Harbor High School, and is rival schools with Goodman Middle School. It takes kids in from Artondale Elementary and Voyager Elementary. Their mascot is the Coyote.

Soccer Kopachuck perenially has the best soccer teams. There are two soccer teams in the School, one coached by P.E. teacher John Rosi and, one by Fox Island resident Eduardo Villa. The girls soccer team has been the The Peninsula School District Champion for 5 years straight 2007-2011. The boys team have won in 2010 and again in 2011.

Wrestling Steve Gernon is also a wrestling teacher, along with Shop teacher Kelly Bolender and John Rosi.

Track Kopachuck is known for their superior track team, winning all meets, with only 1 of them being played at home.
