Kor was introduced in the Land of Fate set (1992).[1]
[edit] Description
In the Land of Fate box set he is described as one of the so-called eight Great Gods of the fictional continent of Zakhara and as preaching, that wisdom stems from age, and wisdom brings strength.[2] Kor's symbol is a sunburst.[2]
The setting depicts Kor as an old and grey-haired but strong man, whose advice is sought by gods and mortals alike.[2] Like other Zakharan gods, he is above such concerns as alignment, as wisdom may be sought by an altruistic healer as well as by an evil leader of holy slayers.[3] His faith places value in stability, order and tradition. Seeking the advice of one's elders and learning from one's mistakes are very important to his followers.[2]
Old Kor is mainly venerated by ethoists. Centers of his worship are the fictional cities of Dihliz, Hawa, Huzuz, Jumlat, Liham, Muluk, Qadib, Rog'osto, Umara and Wasat.[2]
