Abovyan City Stadium (formerly Kotayk Stadium) is an all-seater football stadium in Abovyan, Armenia. The stadium can serve around 5,500 supporters.[1] The stadium used to be FC Kotayk Abovian's home ground in the Soviet period and after Independence, however as the club was dissolved, the stadium is being used by other teams as a temporary field.
The stadium is also the main ve used by other teams as a temporary field.
The stadium is also the main venue of the Armenia national rugby union team. In recent years the stadium witnessed several victories achieved by the Armenian rugby team with the most recent over Serbia in 2008 with a result of 25-0.
