Krisztián Simon (born 6 February 1991) is a Hungarian footballer who plays as a winger. He currently plays for Újpest.


Újpest FC[edit]

Simon played his first match in the Hungarian National Championship I in 2009 against Zalaegerszegi TE. He played 1129 minutes and scored two goals in the 2010–11 season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers[edit]

Simon joined on 21 January 2009 from Újpest FC to Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan until May.[1] In 2010 he was named best Hungarian under 19 football player of the year by Hungarian Football Association.[2]


During his first trial game in Feyenoord, Simon significantly contributed to the victory of his team against Sparta Rotterdam in the second half by two assists and a goal.[3][4] Simon debuted in the Amsterdam Arena against Ajax Amsterdam in the Eredivisie.
