Established in 1988, Kumho Life Insurance Co, Ltd. (hangul:금호생명) is a South Korean insurance company with headquarters in Sinmunro-1-ga Jongno-gu Seoul, Korea. One leading life insurance product operates under the brand name Stand By (hangul:스탠바이). The "Kumho Life" CEO is Choi Byeong Gil (최병길). Actress Cha Seung Won features in Kumho Life commercials.
