This article is about the town in Oita Prefecture, Japan. There are towns with the same name in two other prefectures, see Kunimi, Fukushima or Kunimi, Nagasaki.
Kunimi (国見町 Kunimi-chō) was a town located in Higashikunisaki District, Ōita, Japan.
On March 31, 2006 Kunimi was merged with the towns of Kunisaki (old), Aki and Musashi, all from Higashikunisaki District, to form the new city of Kunisaki.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 5,457 and the density of 74.84 persons per km². The total area was 72.92 km².
