Kusel is a municipality in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, capital of the district of Kusel. It is situated approx. 30 km north-west of Kaiserslautern.
Kusel is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Kusel. The well-known operatic tenor Fritz Wunderlich was born in Kusel, and footballer Miroslav Klose spent part of his childhood in Kusel.
