Kvutsat Yovel

Kvutsat Yovel (Hebrew: קבוצת יובל‎) is a socialist Zionist group which began in 1999, and comprises graduates of Habonim Dror from the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States of America, Canada and Israel.

Members of this group have settled in a kibbutz of ten kvutzot in Migdal HaEmek and Nazareth Illit, totalling about 90 members.

Meaning of the name[edit]

Yovel is the transliteration of the Hebrew word for Jubilee. The Jubilee is a biblical concept relating to the redistribution of wealth and liberation of slaves every 50 years.
