Kyle Medvec (born June 16, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently playing with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL). Medvec was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the 4th round (102nd overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Prior to turning professional, Medvec played four seasons (2007-2011) of NCAA college hockey with the Vermont Catamounts men's ice hockey team.

On July 1, 2011, the Minnesota Wild signed Medvec to an entry-level contract.[1] He played the 2011–12 season in the AHL with the Houston Aeros.
