Leonardo de Matos Cruz (born April 2, 1986 in Niteroi), better known as Léo Matos is a Brazilian Right Back who currently plays Vila Nova (GO) on loan from Tombense-MG.

As a promising youngster moved to Marseille at just 17 which wasn't a successful period. Returned to Flamengo for 6 months then back for a second loan spell at Marseille but again was only a squad player.
Flamengo then sold their 50% ownership to other owners Tombense which now own him outright[1]. In the Season 2008 was on loan at Figueirense[2] and than to the season 2009/2010 was loaned out to Vila Nova[3].
