L'Isle-d'Abeau is a commune to France in the department of Isère, at thirty kilometres from Lyon in the plain of Dauphiné.

This little city was grow with the creation the new city. It own 8 primary school ( 1 is private), two school, one secondery school lycée and 2 IUT : l'IUT GEII (Génie Electrique et Informatique Industrielle)et l'IUT SRC (Services et Réseaux de Communication, dedicated to informatic and multimedia jobs . L'Isle-d'Abeau had also a centre commercial center regional with a lot of commun market.fh
