Leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein coupled receptor 5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the LGR5 gene.[1][2] It is also known as GPR49.

LGR5 was recently shown to be present in mouse hair follicles and intestinal epithelium and can potentially be used to regrow hair in mice and epithelial cell renewing.
