Lal Bahadur Nagar, well known as L.B.Nagar, is a commercial and residential hub in Hyderabad, India. It was once a Municipality in Ranga Reddy District in the Andhra Pradesh but later got merged into the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
As of 2001[update] India census, L.B. Nagar had a population of 261,987. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. L.B. Nagar has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 69%. In L.B. Nagar, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
L.B.Nagar is one among the many major commercial centers of Hyderabad. It is located at the crossroads of the main city and its new international airport.
