The La Mancha goat is an old breed of dairy and meat goat bred in the La Mancha plateau region of Spain. La Mancha goats were brought to Mexico by the Spanish and from there, imported to the United States, where they are believed to have formed part of the ancestral bloodline of the American Lamancha goat.[1]
