La Rivière-du-Nord (The Rivière-du-Nord or The River of the North) is a regional county municipality in southwestern Quebec, Canada. The seat is in Saint-Jérôme. The region is named for the river that runs through it, the Rivière du Nord. La Rivière-du-Nord is located in the Laurentides region of Quebec. The population of the MRC according to the 2006 Census is 101,571[1]
