La Rose is a former settlement in Kern County, California.[1] It was located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 3 miles (4.8 km) northwest of Mojave,[2] at an elevation of 3766 feet (1148 m).[1] La Rose still appeared on maps as of 1947.[1]
