The Little Ghost Godfrey (Swedish: Lilla spöket Laban [Laban the Little Spook]) or "the ghost who wouldn't haunt", is a children's book character created by Inger and Lasse Sandberg from Karlstad, Sweden. Laban and his family, the Father ghost, the Mother ghost and his sister Labolina were created in 1964.

Inger and Lasse Sandberg today run their company together with their son Nicklas Sandberg. The company is called Tre Sandberg AB. The characters were created to help Nicklas get over his fear of ghosts as a child.

Laban, who should not be mistaken for Casper the Friendly Ghost, is a friendly character who does not want to haunt and scare people. Other characters created by the authors are The Thumb and Little Anna.

Laban & Labolina is also a brand for safe children's clothes, books and interior. Currently the products are sold through children's stores in Sweden and online, with pilot stores under development in Norway and Japan.
