Labay Middle School

Allen F. Labay Middle School is a Middle School located in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, USA.
The school, which serves grades 6 through 8, is part of the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District. Labay is located in the Copperfield Development. The building was the home of Langham Creek High School for one year while the high school was being built in 1984. The school was called Labay Junior High until Cy Fair ISD renamed all of its junior highs to middle schools. The school's namesake, Allen F. Labay, devoted 38 years to education and 27 years in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, including as the district superintendent.

Labay was named a National Blue Ribbon School three times (88-89, 92-93, 97-98). [1]

The 8th grade football team, during the 2007-08 and the 2008-09 years, went entirely undefeated, making them two-year consecutive District champions, which has never happened before in the schools history. The full team of the 2008-2009 year was: Ryan Bradshaw, Noah Fernandez, Ricky Noskrent, Austin Cumbow, Clayton Brasher, Michael Stweart, Cameron Henkhaus, James D. Thomas, Kyle Mullen, Kris O'Connell, A.J. Fears, Brandon Toran-Landry, Thomas Arellano, Juan Moreno, Alex Harvey, Christian Diaz, Austin Schexnaider, Alfonso Morales, Kevin Billa, Eddie Anderson, Paul Yacoub, Major Bell, Bryce Peters, Chris M. Johnson, Steven Vanover, Kavin Tilbury, Jared Crawford, James Thomas IV, Temi Alaka, and Moises Juarez. The Coaches were Coach Guest, and Coach Cox.
