Lake St. Croix Beach is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,051 at the 2010 census.[1]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), of which, 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2) of it is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2) of it (42.42%) is water. County 18 serves as a main route.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,140 people, 462 households, and 308 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,982.4 people per square mile (758.9/km²). There were 487 housing units at an average density of 846.9 per square mile (324.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.79% White, 0.35% African American, 1.05% Native American, 0.88% Asian, 0.26% from other races, and 1.67% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.84% of the population.

There were 462 households out of which 31.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.5% were married couples living together, 8.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.3% were non-families. 25.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 2.97.

In the city the population was spread out with 24.8% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 35.4% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 8.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 99.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.0 males.
