Lake Washington is a neighborhood in Melbourne, Florida. It is named after Lake Washington, Brevard County's largest lake. It is a horse area due to the neighborhoods rural-like look. This neighborhood is similar to the community of Deer Run near Palm Bay.[citation needed] It is about 7.4 miles (12 km) northwest of downtown Melbourne, Florida. The main roads in the area are Lake Washington Road (which leads to Lake Washington), Turtle Mound Road, and Harlock Road.
