Lakhni is a town, a tehsil in Bhandara district in the Indian state of Maharashtra .it is one of the great city in bhandara dist.

Lakhni is educational center for the nearby area. there are number of schools and colleges in lakhni. Samarth Vidyalaya, Zansi Rani kanya vidyalaya, Universal English Medium School and Gandhi Vidyalaya are important schools in Lakhni. N.P.Waghaye Sainiki vidyalaya,Lakhni is only military school in bhandara district, situated at Kesalwada/Wagh near Lakhni. Samarth Mahavidyalaya, Lt. N.P.W. college and Vidarbha college are important colleges in Lakhni town.
