Lalgarh (Hindi: लालगढ़) is a village in the Sujangarh tehsil of the Churu district in Rajasthan, India. It is situated at a distance of 57 km from Sujangarh in the southwest direction near the border of Nagaur and Bikaner districts. This is a well-connected village by road from Sujangarh or Nagaur. Raja Lal Singh renamed the village about 100 years back in his own name. Hence the name of village became Lalgarh. Earlier its name was Kaniyana.

Maharaja Ganga Singh had developed a bagichi, which has temples of Shivaji, Balaji and Santoshi Mata. A six-bed hospital was made by Kanheyalal Jain. Outside the village there is a forest of 150 bigha. An annual fair of cattle is organized every year in the village, which is main source of getting Nagauri variety of bulls.

There are 1000 families residing in the village; out of them 600 families are of Lakhotia, Lohia, Bang, Malani, Jhawar, Bajaj, Toshniwal, swami, Bagada, Tawaniya, ojha etc.

There are a minority of Jats, as well. The Jat Gotras in the village are Lomrod, Jakha, Godara, Jakhar, Kulhari, Dhaka, Saran, Dookya, Rad, Jajada, Jyani, Sau, Potaliya, Sangwan, Sirol, Isram and Dhayal.

There are a manority of Islam in the village chuahan rati daima bhati khoker and sai --115.242.231.232 (talk) 12:40, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
