Lambda is the official english student newspaper at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Laurentian also has a French paper by the name of L'Orignal déchaîné.

Currently, Lambda is funded through the Student General Association (SGA), the Student Union at Laurentian University which represents English speaking students. Lambda is distributed every second Thursday and is available almost anywhere on campus.

Lambda began publication in 1961 at Laurentian University. The newspaper consists of 6 staff members which include the Editor-in-Chief, Financial Director, Assistant Editor, Arts and Entertainment Editor, Sports Editor, and Science and Technology Editor. However, it also accepts submissions from students at Laurentian, and members of the Sudbury community.
