Lamia is a genus of longhorn beetles, containing the single species Lamia textor.[1] The adult reaches a total body length of 15–29 millimetres (0.59–1.14 in).[1] L. textor has a wide distribution encompassing most of Europe and Asia, from Scandinavia and the Mediterranean Basin to Japan and Siberia.[1] Lamia is the type genus of the subfamily Lamiinae.
