Lara Sacher (English pronunciation similar to Sasher; born 2 November 1986) is an Australian actress who played Serena Bishop on the Australian soap opera Neighbours from 2003 to 2005.

When she was very young, Sacher appeared in a Banana Advertisement on the TV. Ten years later the cast from the ad had a reunion and Lara appeared with her name on the screen.
Sacher's Neighbours character went missing (presumed dead) after a plane crash along with her mother, Liljana (Marcella Russo) and father, David (Kevin Harrington). Sacher also appeared in the children's show Noah and Saskia playing the character of Claire, where she would meet Hannah Greenwood, who would later play Teresa Cammeniti on Neighbours.
Since leaving Neighbours, Lara has appeared as a female rocker in a television advertisement for the Nestle chocolate bar Aero. She appeared in a pantomime in the UK during Christmas 2007, at the Lyceum Theatre, Crewe, Cheshire in Beauty and the Beast, playing the main part of Beauty.
Away from acting, she has started her own drama school "The Lara Sacher School of Drama" in Malvern, Melbourne for kids aged between six and fourteen. She is currently at Monash University in Melbourne. Sacher aims to teach students. she has had some experience at Balwyn Primary School.
