Larry W. Underwood (born September 9, 1966 in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Dr. Gangrene.

Larry Underwood has appeared in a number of short films, as well as the documentary American Scary. However his best known work is as the Horror HostDr. Gangrene on the long running WNAB television program Creature Feature.

Underwood also printed a series of underground comics through his companies Volunteer Comics and Out of the Cellar Comics which he ran alongside his longtime creative partner, Chuck Angell. Among the books they published was "Best Cellars" which featured early work of Eric Powell (comic writer) in a pre-cursor to The Goon.

Larry Underwood is married with three sons, and has resided in Hendersonville, Tennessee, just north of Nashville since 1996.
