The group's first album became legendary in the history of the Soviet pop. The style of group is a mix of Western disco pop music made on the synthesizer with plain lyrics and sung with a jazzy voice. The style of this group was revived by the group Ruki Vverh!.

Group Vesyolye Rebyata had a hit "Rozoviy Rozy", but even it could not exceed the popularity of the hit "Belye Rozy" of group Laskoviy Mai. The popularity of this group was similar to the popularity of The Beatles in the Soviet Union at the time.[citation needed]
