Last Man Running is a BBC Books original novel written by Chris Boucher and based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Fourth Doctor and Leela. Leela was introduced in the television story The Face of Evil, also written by Chris Boucher. She also appears along with the Fourth Doctor in Boucher's three other Past Doctor Adventures.
Like all Doctor Who spin-off media, its relationship to the ongoing story of the television series is open to interpretation.
