Lateral Link Group LLC is a legal recruiting attorney placement firm and networking forum of "elite" attorneys that was founded in December 2005 by several Harvard Law School alumni.[1] The company provides free career services to "Members" in the form of an online job database as well as traditional off-line recruiting and networking services. Lateral Link offers job-seeking Members a $10,000 bonus if they are placed with a law firm by the company.[2] Lateral Link generally limits membership and access to graduates of top-tier law schools with a minimum of two years of work experience and outstanding career accomplishments.[3] Lateral Link works with both law firms and in-house legal employers in the United States, Asia, Western Europe, and Middle East. Its services are free to Members; companies or firms pay a fee to Lateral Link when they hire a Member using Lateral Link's traditional executive search services.[4]
