Lazydays is the largest dealer of recreational vehicles (RVs) in the United States.[1] The RV dealer market has declined significantly since the 2008-2010 economic turmoil, but still accounts for over $13 billion in sales.[2] Florida, where Lazydays is located, is one of the largest markets in the country.

Lazydays started as a small family business in Tampa, Florida in 1976 with $500 and two travel trailers. Today, more than a quarter of a million RVers visit its facility at 6130 Lazy Days Blvd. in Seffner, FL.

In November, 2009 Lazydays filed a voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan. The prepackaged plan was structured to eliminate all of Lazydays' $137 million debt. Lazydays' work force was cut from 750 to 500.[3]

On July 15, 2011 Lazydays sued its founder in an attempt to enforce a lease for the property upon which the dealership sits.[4]
