Le tombeau de Couperin is a ballet made by New York City Ballet co-founder and founding choreographer George Balanchine to Maurice Ravel's 1919 music of the same title and orchestrated by the composer 1920. The premiere took place as part of City Ballet's Ravel Festival May 29, 1975, as the New York State Theater, Lincoln Center.
