Lee Fletcher is an English record producer, arranger, musician & mastering engineer, also known (though perhaps less so) for creating music-related video. His work has periodically been credited as [halo] (always spelt in lower-case text, enclosed in square brackets) or [halo] productions; a moniker employed for selected projects, though not in current use. Fletchertronics is another term commonly associated with Lee, routinely appearing as his Internet domain and/or username, (e.g. myspace.com/fletchertronics, etc).

[edit] Background
Lee has a long association with German musician and producer Markus Reuter, with whom he has collaborated on numerous projects; The first substantial case being 2003's 'The Scent Of Crash And Burn' (a joint-venture between Markus's band Centrozoon and No-Man singer Tim Bowness), which he co-produced and mixed.[1] Lee went on to contribute sonically to a further two Centrozoon albums,[2][3] a digital-only remix EP,[4] plus an exclusive track that appeared on the Ozella label sampler 'Night',[5][6] as well as providing strategic support for other releases.[7]
Another frequent collaborator is Lee's wife Lisa Fletcher who performs vocals on a number of associated projects. Several titles produced under the [halo] name were made available online during the mid-late noughties, with an EP of covers (entitled 'Plagiarism') reportedly in the works[8] though postponed due to Lee's commitments to other projects/artists. The pair featured on Pat Mastelotto and Markus Reuter's second studio album under the band name Tuner, which was entitled 'Pole'.[9] This CD was subsequently ranked amongst the "50 all-time Prog Classics" by US Modern Drummer magazine.[10] Lisa and Lee have apparently recorded contributions to a future as yet incomplete Tuner release, and more recently Lee mastered and sequenced the live Tuner CD 'ZWAR' which is already commercially available.[11]
[edit] Present / Future
Recent audio works include contributions to recordings by David Lynch protege Chrysta Bell (mastering of the soon-to-be-released 'Strange Darling' album),[12] and This Fragile Moment, an improv ensemble fronted by Toyah Willcox, (production assistance and mastering).[13]
In January 2010 Lee announced that he was working on an avant-garde documentary film,[14] subsequently revealed to be titled 'Older Than God'.[15] The film promises to explore the creative worlds of (longtime collaborator) Markus Reuter, in a manner reflective of the tonal quality of his work. The visual language adopted by Lee for this project was revealed in the official trailer, which was released mid-February.[16] A special 15 minute featurette cut was made available online for a 48-hour promotional period in June 2010,[17] with the final film expected in 2012.
In early 2011 Lee completed extensive production work on an album for (ex-Fairport Convention) singer Judy Dyble entitled 'Newborn Creatures'. In addition to his role as producer / arranger Lee co-wrote the majority of the material, performed on all tracks, and mixed the album. Aside from selected tracks that have been issued within official compilations the work largely remains unreleased.
Most recently Lee has been producing, co-arranging and mixing an album entitled 'Propeller' for singer/songwriter GRICE. Contributing artists include renowned pedal steel guitarist BJ Cole, touch guitarist Markus Reuter, saxophonist Raphael Ravenscroft, and freeform trumpeter Luca Calabrese, as well as Lee himself who provides additional bass guitar and programming.[18] This album is scheduled for release during winter 2011.
