The Left Alliance are a small political group in Fife, Scotland.

"We're known as the hammer and sickle of Fife politics."

William Clarke[1]

They currently have two seats on Fife Council, out of a total of 78 councillors. They are William L. Clarke, who represents Ballingry and Lochore, and Alexander Maxwell, who represents Cowdenbeath Central. Clarke is a member of the Communist Party of Scotland and Maxwell is a member of Democratic Left Scotland.[1]

They represent areas that are part of the former Fife coalfield and have in the past been held by members of the Communist Party of Great Britain and are themselves descended from that political tradition.
