Different Systems[edit]

The Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube versions all have nearly the same gameplay. The PS3, Xbox360, and Wii versions also have very similar gameplay, with the major difference of the Wii having motion controls. The Game Boy Advance version is 3D-style, but is at an overhead view due to the limitations on the Game Boy Advances hardware. On The Game Boy Advance version the levels are also quite different, and there is less items to collect than in the console version. The DS version is 3D and looks very similar graphically even to the console versions. The DS version is also somewhat different than the console versions. The PlayStation Portable version boasts nearly the exact same visuals and gameplay as the console version.

Reception[edit]

Traveller's Tales president Jon Burton stated in a July 2008 interview with Variety that the series had collectively sold 15 million copies.[2] In May 2009, Wired reported combined sales of 20 million.[3] All the games were included in the Player's Choice, Platinum Hits, and Greatest Hits budget lines.
