Leslee Bender is an American fitness educator.
Bender has been involved in the fitness industry since the early 1980s. She is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Bender trains fitness professionals internationally and educates the general public. She speaks at fitness conferences around the world and has produced several workout videos designed for home use. Hundreds of fitness clubs have implemented her system of Pilates training.
Leslee Bender developed the Bender Ball, a small, pliant stability ball. She integrates the Bender Ball and her trademarked method of Selective Stabilization to improve the efficacy and safety of abdominal workouts.
Bender founded and operates her own fitness facility, The Pilates Coach, in Reno, NV.
